James D. Cavanaugh, CPA, is our senior member and principal shareholder of our firm. He directs firm policy on newly enacted tax legislation and accounting pronouncements. Jim designs gift and estate tax family planning for majority shareholders in closely held corporations and provides representation services before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. Jim provides litigation support services and management advisory services in addition to traditional accounting and audit engagement services.
Steven M. Collins, CPA, has been with us for more than 30 years serving a wide range of clients, including individuals, trust and estates, corporations, S corporations, and partnerships. His areas of specialization include managing accounting and audit engagements, system implementations, tax compliance, and audits.
Stephen A. Fischetti, CPA, JD, LL.M., adds a unique dimension to our firm. He is a CPA who holds both a law degree and a Master of Laws degree in taxation. Stephen handles the firm's tax controversy work before federal, state, and local taxing authorities. He has a proven ability to structure tax planning to best meet each client's needs. His background includes more than 25 years of diverse experience in tax planning, review and preparation of corporate, partnership, individual, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns.
